Riding High chronicles the story of the pioneers of Australian eventing (1956-1960). The film features interviews with Australia’s leading equestrians, including members of the 1956 and the 1960 gold medal-winning, Olympic eventing teams.
Sadly, since the documentary was released two of the riders interviewed for the project, Bunty Thompson and dual medalist, Neale Lavis have since passed away. Riding High was the last time their stories were captured on film.
Riding High became a finalist at the EQUUS Film Festival in New York in 2017 and toured the USA as part of the World Equestrian Games in 2018.
